2. Choose Natural Shampoo for Hair Growth

The right shampoo is the next step on your journey towards growing your hair faster, thicker and healthier. Choose a natural shampoo formulated to promote hair growth and steer clear of ingredients that could hinder your progress.

You need a shampoo that doesn’t contain synthetic ingredients:

  • No sulphates (SLS) - They strip natural oils and stifle hair follicles, causing hair fall.
  • No silicones - Silicones coat the hair shaft and cause build-up on the scalp and hair.
  • No DMDMs - They are drying preservatives that are currently being investigated in several class action lawsuits alleging they cause hair loss.

If you have curly hair, use a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle it when it’s wet. Straight and wavies should ensure the strands are dry, as they can stretch and break when wet.
