Returns must be securely packed and include all original packaging where possible. We’re unable to accept items that arrive damaged, such as broken glass or leaking containers, so please take extra care when preparing your parcel.
4. Empty Products Policy
If over 50% of a product has been used, we may review the return and adjust the refund accordingly. This helps prevent misuse of our returns policy, including cases where products were promptly emptied and returned. Thank you for your understanding.

We’ll email you once your return has been received and your refund processed. Most refunds appear quickly, but please allow up to 14 days for it to show on your bank

Your parcel must be clearly marked as “Returned Goods” on both the package and customs forms. Parcels not properly declared may be rejected or incur fees, which we’re unable to cover.

Order Issues
Once you place your order, we’ll send you an email confirmation right away. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder. Also, double-check that the email address you entered is correct, typos can prevent delivery. If you still don't see it, please contact our team to confirm your order.
If you would like to update or cancel your order, or need to make a last-minute address change, please contact our team as soon as possible. If we receive your amendment before your parcel is packed on the dispatch trolley, we will do our very best to update it for you. Otherwise, it will be shipped to you as-is.
For UK customers who need a last minute address change, you may be able to self-serve via the tracking link we will send you. Royal Mail's "Update your delivery options" feature allows you to redirect a parcel to a different address after it has been shipped, provided you do so before the initial delivery attempt.
Sometimes packages do get lost in transit, and we truly appreciate your patience while we work to resolve it.
If your order hasn’t arrived, seems delayed, or tracking shows it as delivered when it’s not, please get in touch within 5 days of the estimated delivery date. When you email us, please include your order number. We’ll investigate right away and keep you updated.
If we aren’t notified within 14 days of the estimated delivery date, we may not be able to offer a replacement or compensation directly. At that point, the best next step would be to contact the courier directly, and we’ll happily provide any documents or information you need to support your claim.

Please note: We carefully review every claim using multiple sources of verification:
- Pack-room CCTV footage confirming the order was correctly packed and sealed
- Parcel weight records
- Royal Mail tracking records and proof of delivery photos
- One-time peel-and-stick seal on the parcel, ensuring the package cannot be reopened without visible tampering
These measures allow us to confirm that parcels leave our facility complete and intact. Claims submitted without the requested evidence, or that conflict with our verified delivery records, may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Important: Amazon Lockers
We cannot deliver to Amazon Locker addresses. Amazon Lockers only accept deliveries from Amazon and their contracted carriers (Amazon Logistics, DPD, Evri). As an independent seller shipping via Royal Mail, we are unable to access these lockers. Please provide a residential, business, or Post Office address instead.

If your parcel is returned to us:
We cannot take responsibility for parcels that are refused, undeliverable due to an incorrect address, or left uncollected.
For parcels returned to sender due to address issues provided at Checkout:
- We may apply a £3 restocking fee per product
- Original postage is non-refundable
- If the parcel is returned damaged, we cannot refund the goods

Product FAQs
Our facility is located in a rural area in Buckinghamshire, England, where our team of artisans make our products by hand. Our products are hand-finished, checked and packed, all before they make their way to you!
Skin chemistry varies from person to person. All declarable allergens are listed under the Full Ingredients section on each product page, and on the product packaging.
Although we use the purest natural ingredients, Awake Organics cannot guarantee that customers will not experience any reactions, and cannot be held responsible should any occur. If you have a history of sensitive skin, allergic reactions or have never tried Awake Organics products before, please patch test on a small area prior to using as directed.
To say that our products are chemical-free would be misleading, as everything at its core is technically a chemical.
All of our skincare products are free from synthetic additives known to be harmful, including parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, artificial fragrances and colours, and more.
Our products are scented using extremely high quality, organic essential oils.
We advise that our products should be kept out of reach of children. This is important if your child is of an age where they could consume our product, poke their eye with the pipette, spill it all over your carpet, etc., when unsupervised.
If you intend to use a product on your child’s skin, we advise they should be age 3+ years (except for our SPF25, which is safe for use on babies over 3 months old).
We don’t recommend Aura or Moon Goo Natural Deodorant for children, as they are extra-strength products for adults.
All products in the Awake Organics range are Leaping Bunny approved.
We never test on animals and can guarantee that there is no animal testing in our supply chain. We are proudly certified Cruelty Free by Leaping Bunny, the best assurance that a company has made a genuine commitment to ending animal testing.
GLUTEN
Our products are gluten free. We use organic wheatgerm oil and vitamin e derived from wheatgerm oil in some formulations. Despite sounding to the contrary, wheatgerm oil is gluten free. The refining process used to make wheatgerm oil removes gluten proteins from the final ingredient before we add it to our lovely products. A gluten free ingredient declaration statement is available upon request.
SOY
Our products are soy free. We use organic coconut milk powder in the formulation and organic Maltodextrin makes up 2.5% of this ingredient. Our Maltodextrin is derived from organic Tapioca starch, which is extracted from a tuberous South American Cassava root. We also use glycerine derived from rape seed as opposed to soy.
NUTS
Most of our products are nut free.
Exceptions include: Eye Time (Almond oil), Hair & Body Tri-Serum (Argan Kernel Oil), Hair & Scalp Super Oil (Argan Kernel Oil), Hands & Feet (Shea Butter), Dry Patches (Shea Butter), Lip Love (Shea Butter), Space Cat/Star Cloud/Cedar Ridge/Fresh Vibes Natural Deodorant (Shea Butter).
We use ingredients that may have been packed on premises that handles nuts (including peanuts), seeds, cereals, soy and products containing gluten prior to coming to our facility for mixing up into our lovely range of products.
We strongly oppose Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) agriculture. We make a point of using non-GMO ingredients with supplier declarations to back up the claims.
The term Holistic (a.k.a. wholistic) is the philosophy and practice of healing that has to do with constantly keeping the whole body (meaning the physical body, the mind and the spirit) at the highest level of total wellness.
This concept draws from the universal natural laws that state a whole is made up of the sum of all its parts, and that the parts cannot function properly if the whole is not functioning properly.
Holistic skincare is more than just what you use on your skin. Organic, healthy whole foods, plenty of good quality water and frequent exercise are important factors in a healthy skincare regimen.
When it comes to the ever-growing burden of unwanted chemicals in our food, water and air, and even sun damage, your skin might need a little help.
To help unburden yourself from synthetic chemical overload, Awake Organics provides skin, hair and body products that use only the purest, healthiest ingredients that are inline with a holistic approach.
We take great care in selecting unadulterated ingredients that are ultra rich in naturally occurring antioxidants and minerals.
We base our selections on several criteria: locality, purity and organic certification. As such, we source the vast majority of our ingredients from trusted UK and EU suppliers.
We only use non-nano mineral powders in our formulas, including pharmaceutical grade Magnesium.
“Awake Organics” is our brand name and reflects our commitment to formulating with high-quality, responsibly sourced, natural ingredients.
Many of the ingredients we use are certified organic by recognised bodies, including the Soil Association. Where certified organic ingredients are not available, we prioritise materials that are ethically sourced, unrefined, wild-crafted, Fairtrade, or locally produced.
We are transparent about all ingredients in our products. Full details are provided on every product page, and packaging clearly indicates which ingredients are certified organic in each formula.
Our focus is simple: to use the best ingredients available and formulate with care and integrity.
Most of our packaging is plastic free, with the exception of some products that require pumps or pipettes for dispensing. Where the latter is the case, we offer plastic free refills.
We use glass jars and bottles with aluminium closures, which are 100% recyclable.
We use food grade aluminium jars and bottles that are safely lined, all of which are also 100% recyclable.
Our cartons are made locally, using FSC recycled materials and biodegradable veggie inks.
We don’t use palm oil directly in any of our formulations, however we do use some ingredients that are derived from Responsibly Sourced Palm Oil (RSPO).
These tend to be emulsifiers that are needed to achieve the texture and results our customers have come to expect from our hair and body care products.
Where palm-derived ingredients are used, they are notified on the ingredients list and they are certified RSPO.
RSPO is a global, not-for-profit organisation that brings together stakeholders from across the palm oil supply chain to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil.
A woman can be extra sensitive to many substances during pregnancy. For that reason we recommend waiting until after your baby is born before using products that contain essential oils.
Rinse-off products, such as shampoo or a facial cleanser, will be less readily absorbed into the bloodstream.
When in doubt, we always recommend that you consult your primary healthcare provider.
Our ingredients are pure and fresh, and we want to keep them that way. We do not use water, artificial or synthetic preservatives in most of our products*. Instead, we rely on the naturally antibacterial and antifungal properties of several botanical oils to boost the shelf life of our products. As a result, they do expire with time, as nature intends. To get the most out of our natural products, keep them cool, dry, out of direct sunlight, and always use clean hands (or a spoon) in the jar. The period-after-opening (small jar with 3M/6M/9M/12M) symbol on the packaging indicates the number of months after opening that you should use the product for best results. We recommend using our products within 12 months or receiving them for optimal results.

Stocking up? If you’re not planning to open and use your products immediately, we
recommend storing them in the fridge for up to 12 months (don’t freeze them).
This will help keep them fresh by avoiding common temperature fluctuations and
exposure to light, which are common in a home environment and can degrade
natural products over time. Once out of the fridge, please let them come to
room temperature and they will be good as new.

We do not use sulphates, harsh detergents, artificial fragrances or colours, which are usually the “flare-up” culprits.
However, our natural skin care products are designed to provide aromatherapeutic
benefits, and therefore may contain high concentrations of natural essential oils.
Any allergens contained in our essential oil blends are naturally occurring, and include: Limonene, Linalol, Geraniol, Citronellol, and Citral.
We recommend patch testing any natural skin care product you purchase on a small area inside your wrist or upper arm for 2-3 days prior to using.
Most of our products are vegan, but some contain beeswax. Divine Skin Moisture Balm, Aura Natural Deodorant and Moon Goo Natural Deodorant all contain beeswax.
The Stearic Acid contained in some products is 100% plant-based and derived from coconuts.
