Full Ingredients
30% Organic Fairtrade Shea Butter
The melt you feel first. Warm it between your fingers and it turns from balm to oil, that's the Shea butter, treasured for centuries for nourishing dry skin. Rich in palmitic and oleic fatty acids, it softens and replenishes; antioxidant vitamins A, E and F help defend against environmental stress. Skin is left silky, comforted and cared for. Ours is handcrafted by women's cooperatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, who earn a fair income for their families.
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
The sink-in. Cold-pressed and gently soothing, with a long-loved reputation for comforting dry, rough or scaly-feeling skin. It softens and conditions as it absorbs, a natural favourite for skin prone to dryness, eczema and irritation.
Natural Barrier Lipids
The reason it lasts. Cold-pressed Wheatgerm and organic Sunflower seed oils, naturally rich in two skin-loving fatty acids. Linoleic acid is the one skin uses to build ceramides and keep its barrier strong, when that barrier is compromised, skin feels dry, tight and reactive. Oleic acid softens and conditions, and helps the balm sink in rather than sit on top. Together they leave skin calmer, suppler and more comfortable for longer. Our Wheatgerm oil is gluten free.
