Most Vitamin C serums are formulated with synthetic Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Ascorbic acid is a refined white powder that is water-soluble. Once exposed to oxygen and light, synthetic Vitamin C loses its cosmetic benefits. And as it’s water-soluble, it can only be added to a water-based formulation, which must then be made safe for use by adding a preservative system.

Retinol is a form of synthetic Vitamin A, and one of the best-known skincare ingredients on the market. Vitamin A helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, enlarged pores, and give skin a renewed appearance. The problem with most synthetic Vitamin A serums (retinols), is that they usually cause sensitivities, skin irritation, and can accelerate sun damage if worn in daylight.

Our F A+C+E Vitamins Brightening Serum is silicone free, and contains no alcohol, no petroleum derivatives, no mineral oil, no synthetic colour, fragrance or perfume, no Phenoxyethanol, and is preservative and water free.

Add 4-8 drops of F A+C+E Vitamins Brightening Serum to your palm and add a sprinkle of water. Lightly combine with fingertips and gently press onto cleansed skin (starting with driest parts) until absorbed. Apply morning and night.

You can also apply a few drops of F A+C+E Vitamins Brightening Serum over your make-up to add a dewy glow.

For dry or mature skin, apply the serum first, allowing it to penetrate the skin. Then apply a thin layer of Divine Skin Moisture Balm to lock in the hydration.
