Directions
1. Wet your hair. Warm-and-Smoosh the Scalp Scrub very well between your palms until it's soft and spreadable. This is a waterless product, and it needs a little energy to soften it.
2. Spread the Scalp Scrub onto your scalp, and gently massage your roots, using a back-and-forth motion with your fingertips for 2 minutes. You may find it easier to flip your head over to get instant access to your roots.
3. Rinse with warm water and follow with our shampoo and conditioner.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is brimming with essential fatty acids that deliver a healthy dose of moisture, penetrating the hair shaft and helping to repair stressed hair strands. Coconut oil also has mild antipruritic, antiseptic and keratolytic (compounds that break down the outer layers of thick skin) properties. It is widely recommended for the treatment of scaly skin disorders of such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and dandruff.
Himalayan Pink Salt
Himalayan Pink Salt is what makes our natural Scalp Scrub, scrubby. Himalayan Pink salt improves scalp health by exfoliating, loosening and dissolving product build-up and dandruff. It also stimulates circulation, which is what sluggish hair follicles need.
Hibiscus + Peppermint
Hibiscus and Peppermint are a hair-match made in heaven. Hibiscus is naturally a little acidic and this helps reduce greasiness and excess oil build-up on the scalp. Aside from smelling delicious, Peppermint oil is one of the best natural ingredients for stimulating hair growth and keeping the scalp happy and healthy. Applying peppermint oil topically may have the potential to increase depth, size, and number of hair follicles over time.

I do really like this scalp scrub. It smells really delicious and has definitely helped with my dry itchy scalp. However I have dropped one star because it is not easy to use. My solution is to warm some in a small pot, by standing the pot in a bowl of hot water. This makes it much easier to emulsify and apply to the scalp without it all falling into the tub. Hope this tip helps others.

You're spot on that our natural balm texture can be a bit firm, especially in cooler weather, because we don't use any water, synthetic emulsifiers or stabilisers. We recommend warming in your hands. It takes a little energy if it's feeling cold and firm, but the heat from hands is enough to soften it. This step is very important, as you've noticed. When the balm is warmed and emulsified with a little water it is lovely and easy to use.
Your clever solution of warming it in a small pot with hot water is such a practical way to make it easier to work with and apply evenly to the scalp without waste. We really appreciate you sharing that tip - it's going to be so helpful for other customers!
