I became sensitive to my previous gentle deodorant having used it for years, following a single use of a spray deodorant which caused a massive reaction which required prescription treatment to sort it. So far, the Star Cloud has not provoked a reaction which is a huge relief and I’ve been using it for more than a month now - long may it work for me! Trying to meet my sensitive skin requirements at the same time as avoiding an allergy to limonene and not purchase products in plastic is a challenge and so far star cloud is ticking all the boxes 😅

Fab deodorant! I've been using a fully natural deodorant that comes in a carboard stick for about 10 years but recently started developing itchiness. So switched to this and glad i did. I really like the fact it doesn't have a smell to it.

Sounds like you might have a bit of a sensitivity to sodium bicarb - and this can happen sometimes, even if you've used a product for ages. In fact, it is more likely to show up in hot weather. BUT, we're completely thrilled to hear our Star Cloud has become your perfect solution! I have the frustrating combination of being very sweaty and having also developed a sensitivity to sodium bicarbonate after many years of use. I didn't want to go back to an anti-perspirant, but all the gentle deodorants from other brands I was trying weren't working for me.
Trying this was my last ditch attempt, and I've been pleasantly surprised. It has a nice initial smell and texture and absorbs well. I like the packaging. I personally have to reapply it half way through each day which although not ideal is still so much better than other gentle deodorants have been for me. I find the scent fades quickly so I will try one with essential oils next e.g. Space Cat, and see if my skin can tolerate that, now that it has recovered from the sodium bicarbonate rashes I had developed from a different brand.

I've become much more educated on how every day products after our mental and physical health and so I went online looking for a better option for a deodorant for me and I found Awake Organics and the product has worked really well while at the same time contributing to my health.
